The Villagers Retreat is an opportunity to invest in your skills, energy, and founder relationships with a curated group of bright entrepreneurs facing similar challenges and opportunities.
Think of it as an investment: 2 days to up-level the other 363 (and beyond). You’ll gain clarity from stepping out of the day-to-day fray, tactics for smart, bold growth, and inspiration from amazing peers you’ll keep coming back to.
This will be our seventh time organizing the Villagers Retreat. Founders consistently tell us it’s one of the most valuable gatherings on their calendar — not just among startup events, but across everything they do. We know your time is precious, and we curate each moment accordingly.

We’re taking over the beautiful 1440 Multiversity campus in Scotts Valley, CA. We have this stunning property just for ourselves. You can learn more about the venue here.
Monday, June 29th at 3:00pm to Wednesday, July 1st at 1:00 pm.
a. Take our Shuttle Service from SF: Enjoy a smooth, stress-free ride in our spacious shuttles from SF. When you register to attend you’ll be asked if you’d like to take our shuttle service.
b. Drive: If you would prefer to Uber or drive your own car, the campus is an easy drive ~75 miles south of San Francisco. There is plenty of available parking as well.
We will release more details on the agenda and activities soon. It’s composed of curated peer group breakouts, moderated meal groups, small group connections, and more!
WiFi is available throughout, though we highly recommend planning in advance so you can clear your calendar and be present. We know work emergencies can pop up but for everything else, we encourage you to delegate out as much as possible!
Yes! You can specify the portions of the event you can participate in when you RSVP.
It’s free! You just have to get yourself to the retreat, or take our shuttle from SF, and we have the rest covered. 🙂
This event is exclusively invite-only; your significant others, coworkers, and besties won’t be able to come. If you have an exceptional exec or co-founder who would make a valuable addition to the retreat, please email sheila@villageglobal.vc for consideration.
It’s casual! Come as you are and be comfortable. We recommend sneakers, athleisure, and dressing for comfort!
